„ Plastic deformation of CuBe is equivalent to copper at the annealed temper.
„ They can achieve very high mechanical properties after heat treatment, up to 1500 N/mm² in tensile strength and hardness as high as 450 Vickers.
„They exhibit an outstanding fatigue strength and excellent resistance to fatigue in reverse bending and vibrations. The Bérylco 25 fatigue limit commonly achieved is 106cycles or 108cycles at 420 N/mm² or 300 N/mm², respectively.
„They exhibit a high electrical conductivity ranges from 22 to 60% IACS depending on the alloys and temper.
„Their can operate over a wide range of temperatures, particularly very low cryogenic temperatures, but also at
elevated temperatures which are above those normally acceptable for the common copper alloys..

„They have excellent wear resistance.
„They present complete resistance to anelastic behaviour under elastic deformation.
